Medical Receptionist – Join Our Friendly St Kilda Practice

We are a well-loved family general practice in the heart of St Kilda, and we’re on the lookout for a caring, reliable, and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team.

We’re looking for a Casual Receptionist - 2 days a week with at least 2 years of experience in reception – ideally in a medical or healthcare environment.

The Role

As the first smiling face our patients see, you’ll be at the heart of our practice. Every day will be different – from greeting patients and booking appointments to supporting doctors and helping keep the practice running smoothly.

This is a casual position for two days a week, with the possibility of additional hours and even a permanent role for the right candidate.

Shifts are Monday–Friday:

Morning: 7:30 am – 1:30 pm

Afternoon: 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm

What You’ll Be Doing

Welcoming patients with a warm smile and friendly attitude

Scheduling appointments and processing billing

Answering phones and assisting patients with enquiries

Preparing consultation rooms for patient visits

Assisting with admin tasks like daily banking and record-keeping

Providing efficient admin and reception support for our practitioners

Representing our practice and our team

About You

Previous medical reception experience (knowledge of Best Practice software is a big plus!)
