We are seeking an experienced, energetic and cheerful medical receptionist to join our friendly specialist practice team in Malvern. 4 days (Tuesday -Friday).

Duties include but are not limited to:

Managing consulting days including making patient appointments, billing, organising further investigations and patient recalls

Greeting patients on arrival and ensuring accurate data entry

Managing telephone, email and fax enquiries in a courteous and professional manner

Preparing and receipting patient accounts

Coordinating hospital theatre booking lists

Receive and convey messages both verbally and in writing

Liaising with patients and their families in a compassionate manner

Networking with GPs, other health professionals and their staff

General office administration

About you:

Exceptional Genie practice management software knowledge

Previous experience in fast paced medical practice reception or similar

Punctual, reliable and responsible

The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and patient confidentiality

Strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise work according to urgency

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The ability to work in a team environment and show initiative to work independently and productively when required.

The ability to communicate courteously and respectfully with patients, carers and colleagues.
