I'm partnering with a highly regarded hospitality venue recognised for delivering premium dining experiences and exceptional service.

They are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role will take full ownership of payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a smooth process for all employees, while also supporting HR with reporting, compliance matters and ongoing process improvements.

About the role:

• End-to-end payroll processing using Employment Hero and Xero
• Onboarding new employees and maintaining records
• Processing PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and EOFY requirements
• Managing employee leave, reimbursements and termination payments
• Preparing reconciliations, reporting and supporting audits
• Partnering with managers to resolve payroll queries
• Supporting payroll projects and continuous improvements

About you:

• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, ATO requirements, FBT and superannuation
• Experience with enterprise agreements, awards and employment contracts
• Background in high-volume payroll, ideally within hospitality or a related sector
• Familiarity with Employment Hero and/or Xero is desirable
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively improve processes
