TOM People I have partnered with an established property company to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager for a Part-Time stand-alone opportunity. Working within a wider finance team, this role will report to the CFO and work alongside with the wider finance team.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing for around 250 employees.
Ensure compliance with EBAs, payroll legislation, and tax obligations.
Partner with finance and HR teams on payroll reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
Manage external payroll providers, audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Experience as a Payroll Manager role within a large, complex environment
Strong knowledge of awards, payroll tax, superannuation, and compliance regulations.
Proven experience leading payroll transformation, system upgrades, and process automation.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
