This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on developing, maintaining, and communicating organisational policies that reflect best practice, meet legislative requirements, and enhance the employee experience. You’ll work closely with leaders and stakeholders to ensure policies are practical, accessible, and embedded across the organisation.

What You Will Do
As our Policy Advisor, you will:
Lead the development, review, and implementation of organisational policies and procedures using contemporary, evidence-informed approaches.
Ensure all policies are aligned with legislative and regulatory requirements, and reflect our organisational values.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policies are understood, accessible, and embedded in day-to-day practice.
Maintain a centralised and well-organised policy library, ensuring documents are current and easy to navigate.
Translate complex legal and operational requirements into clear, practical guidance for staff.
Support leaders and teams in applying policies consistently and confidently.
Identify opportunities to improve policy clarity, relevance, and impact.
Prepare documentation and guidance to support internal education and onboarding around key policies.
What You Will Not Be Doing
Working in isolation: you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure policies are meaningful and well-integrated.
Writing policies for the sake of it: your work will be purposeful, practical, and aligned with real organisational needs.
Waiting for direction: you’ll be trusted to take initiative and lead improvements.
Doing the same thing every day: this role offers variety across policy creation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic input.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in law, business, human resources, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in policy development or strategic advisory roles.
Strong understanding of legislative frameworks and policy best practices.
Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly documents.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders to embed policy in practice.
A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
