The Role

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Estimator with experience in estimating Remedial Building projects - Concrete repair / Concrete spalling, Remedial Waterproofing and Structural repair works to join their team in Chermside.

Role Responsibilities

• Initial assessment of tenders received
• Prepare tender estimates
• Read and interpret project documentation, including specifications, drawings and BOQ's
• Complete take-offs
• Working with internal team to prepare proposed methodology
• Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders - including subcontractor trades, remedial engineering consultants, strata consultants and clients.
• Evaluate sub-contractor and supplier tender documentation
• Follow up estimates and submissions to gain feedback
• Provide detailed handover of project information to the Project Management Team

What are we looking for?

• Essential Experience - Minimum 2 years recent experience estimating Remedial Waterproofing and Concrete Repair works.
• Tertiary Qualified in Engineering or Construction Management
• Understanding of the Remedial Building, Waterproofing and Building Maintenance process
• Full Australian working rights.
