Venue Manager – Join Our Unique & Bustling Restaurant in the Heart of Witchcliffe

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless customer experience

Lead, train, and motivate a small, close-knit team to deliver exceptional service

Manage staff rosters, timesheets, and shift planning

Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

Maintain stock levels, place supplier orders, and manage inventory control

Monitor and uphold high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure quality and timing of food delivery

Handle basic financial tasks such as cash handling, EFTPOS reconciliation, and daily reporting

Support marketing and promotional efforts, including events and special menus

Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints with professionalism and care

About You:

RSA certified & Approved Manager Cards

Proven experience in a hospitality leadership or supervisory role

Strong people management and communication skills

Passionate about customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure

Hands-on approach and willing to step into any area as needed

Knowledge of food safety and OH&S standards
