About the Role
Solitaire Weddings is seeking an experienced and motivated Wedding Coordinator to join our team in the South West. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to grow into a Wedding & Events Manager position for the right candidate.
As Wedding Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for prospective couples, leading site tours and managing enquiries through to confirmed bookings. You will then guide clients through their planning journey and deliver seamless execution on the day — from hands-on set-up through to final pack-down — ensuring every couple enjoys an exceptional Solitaire Weddings experience.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical fitness, excellent people skills, and the ability to manage both planning and execution. You’ll be just as comfortable styling tables and moving furniture as you are leading a client meeting or coordinating staff.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct venue site tours and drive sales conversions
Manage client enquiries, bookings, and ongoing communications
Coordinate weddings and events from planning to flawless delivery
Complete hands-on set-up, styling, and furniture movement
Manage pack-down at the conclusion of each event
Lead and support casual event staff during weddings
Collaborate with the marketing team on sales initiatives and promotions
Uphold Solitaire’s high standards of service, presentation, and guest experience
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in event or wedding coordination (venue-based experience highly regarded)
Proven ability to manage sales conversations and convert site tours into bookings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff on event days
Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on event work (moving, lifting, styling, set-up)
Ability to work weekends and evenings in line with event schedules
Leadership potential and ambition to grow into a Manager role
