About the Position
The City is looking for two (2) Technical Officers – Asset Management to support the review of the City’s Asset Management Planning Framework and provide specialist advice in the implementation and continuous improvement of business processes, data management initiatives and asset management systems. This role will join a supportive team and offer career development opportunities.
Both roles are being offered on a permanent and full-time basis.
About You
You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, GIS or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge in operational and/or strategic Asset Management.
- Experience in the development of Asset Management Plans.
- Experience with Asset Management, GIS and/or financial systems (e.g. TechOne, NAMS+).
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
- White Card
- Driver’s Licence
In addition to the above, completion of the IPWEA Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning and/or experience with ASPEC Data Specification and Procedures will be highly regarded.

Salary: $101,353 - $109,157 per annum (City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025) based on qualifications and experience.
