We are looking for an Engineering Technical Officer to join our passionate Traffic and Road Safety team. In this role, you will play a key part in investigating and resolving road safety, traffic, and parking issues. Making our streets safer and more accessible for everyone.

Location: City of Melville Civic Centre

Salary: Level 6 $93,877.26 to $100,783.72 pro-rata p.a. + 12% Super

Employment Type: Permanent Full time

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

Lead and manage the traffic count program

Analyse traffic and road safety data to provide recommendations

Conduct investigations into traffic and parking issues

Prepare clear reports and correspondence with considered answers

Collaborate with internal teams and the community to deliver smart, people focused solutions

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in the role, you will need to:

Possess qualifications in Civil Engineering or recognised prior learning/experience

Have experience in developing and reviewing parking schemes

Written and verbal communication skills

Hold a current ‘C’ Class driver’s licence

Collaborative team member
