12 Month Labour Hire - Payroll Officer, APS4 Equivalent, Part-time 22.5 Hours per Week.
Are you an experienced payroll officer looking for part-time hours?
We have an opportunity for an experienced payroll officer to work in a small Commonwealth owned entity, where as part of a small team of two you will jointly manage the processing of one fortnightly payroll for a staff of approximately 150 nationally.
The role is available as a labour hire contract for 12 months and is available as a contract due to ASL limitations. It is the equivalent of an APS4 level role, with a pay rate of between $50 - $57 per hour plus 12 % super.
What are we looking for? A positive team player with a good track record of the delivery of payroll services to a similar sized organisation. This role will suit anyone who has been involved in a manual payroll function, while the size of the payroll and number of pay runs may be small, the complexity comes in the system and processes surrounding this function. While it is within a Commonwealth environment, it would be more aligned to those non-APS organisations in terms of process and approach.
We want to speak with you if you have had experience working in a busy payroll function, where you have had to run a manual payroll process that relied on your ability to navigate the payroll system and interrogate data directly. Attention to detail is key! Any experience with the ELMO payroll system will be a bonus, but experience working across similar payroll systems will also be considered.
This role is available on a part-time basis only, with a maximum of 22.5 hours a week expected. The key days you will be required to work on-site from the office will be Tuesday and Wednesday, while you have the option of working a third day from home. The split of your hours is flexible, if there is a presence of at least 5 hours per day on both of those days. While at work you will have the opportunity to enjoy a newly refurbished office environment with bright open spaces and lots of light.
