About the role
As a Lead Gardener you'll be responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of gardening tasks, ensuring the highest quality of work for our residential and commercial clients. You'll work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating your expertise and passion for all things green.

Key Responsibilities for the role
* Garden Maintenance: Expertly perform pruning, weeding, mulching, planting, fertilizing, and pest/disease management.
* Team Leadership: Potentially guide and mentor junior gardeners or assistants on specific projects.
* Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice.
* Plant Health: Diagnose and treat plant issues, ensuring the vitality of all flora.
* Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely operated.
* Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve gardening challenges.

Skills & experience
* Experienced: You have a proven track record (2+ years preferred) in professional gardening and horticulture.
* Knowledgeable: You possess a strong understanding of plant species, soil types, and local growing conditions in Brisbane.
* Skilled: Proficient in using a variety of gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Detail-Oriented: You take pride in your work and have an eye for precision.
* Reliable & Punctual: You're a dependable individual who takes initiative.
* Customer-Focused: You're friendly, professional, and able to build rapport with clients.
* Physical Stamina: You're fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
* Valid Driver's License: Essential for traveling between client sites.
* Horticulture qualification (preferred but not essential)
