About the role
We have an opportunity for a Recruitment Officer to join our team based in our new Parramatta office. This internal 360 role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle and candidate pipeline for Support Workers across Greater Sydney.
Key functions/duties include, but not limited to:
Advertising – Creating/Posting appropriate job adverts on various job boards, portals and social media.
Fielding inquiries – receiving inquiries via phone, email and in person and actioning those inquiries in a timely manner.
Phone Screens – reviewing all applications to your roles and phone screening suitable applicants.
Interviews – conducting virtual and face-to-face interviews
Pre Employment Checks – Ensuring all pre employment checks for potential employees are completed in a timely manner – e.g. references, NDIS checks, Visa Checks etc.
Admin – Ensuring accurate, detailed and timely administration of all notes and duties.
Other ad-hoc duties to support the recruitment function.
About you
We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and transferable skills. Whether you have a background in recruitment, experience as a Support Worker, or a strong foundation in administration - your experience matters to us. If you’re proactive, people-focused, and ready to contribute in a meaningful way, we’d love to hear from you.
Key requirements of the role:
Attention to Detail – you will be dealing with high numbers of applications and multiple competing tasks, as a result you need excellent attention to detail in notes and administration.
Communication Skills – As a key point of contact for candidates, you must be confident, clear, and professional in both verbal and written communication. The ability to engage with people, build rapport quickly, and represent our brand positively is crucial.
Computer Skills – We need someone who has strong computer skills – adept with all Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Teams) as well as the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Relationship Building – We will expect you to be able to build great working relationships with key internal stakeholders – Recruiters, Coordinators, Branch Operations Managers etc.
Parramatta Office – Hybrid work arrangements will be available once you’re fully embedded in the role.
