As the Locum Recruitment Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading a team to ensure Ochre Health's locum workforce needs are met. This leadership position requires a proactive and strategic approach to roster management, with a specific focus on efficiently filling urgent locum roles and supporting our Ochre practices. A key responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning our workforce strategy with the organisation’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of three direct reports, offering guidance and support.

Oversee roster management to guarantee adequate locum staffing across all required positions.

Proactively address and fill urgent locum roles efficiently to ensure continuity of care.

Develop and implement workforce strategies in partnership with key stakeholders.

Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to align workforce planning with organisational objectives.

Monitor team performance and recruitment metrics to ensure targets are achieved.

What we are looking for:

Proven leadership experience in time critical roles

Experience in roster filling, ideally within a healthcare setting.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage urgent workforce requirements.

A background in talent acquisition or a related field would be an advantage.

Familiarity with workforce management software and CRM systems.
