Gough Recruitment are proud to be exclusively partnering with Harbour Town Gold Coast Premium Outlets, Australia’s largest outlet shopping destination, to appoint an Assistant Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded retail asset, supporting the Operations Manager and Centre Manager to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the centre.
About the Role
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operational functions of the centre. You will support the delivery of first-class facilities and services, ensuring compliance, safety, and presentation standards are consistently met. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and retailers, you will contribute to the delivery of an exceptional customer and tenant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in the delivery of day-to-day centre operations, maintenance, and compliance.
- Assist with tenancy coordination, including monitoring fit-out works, refurbishments, and compliance with centre guidelines.
- Coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure efficient delivery of hard and soft services.
- Contribute to risk management, safety, and compliance across the asset.
- Assist with capital works projects, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, stakeholders, and service partners.
- Provide operational support to the Centre Manager as required.
About You
- Previous experience in retail property operations, facilities management, tenancy coordination or a related field.
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and collaborative approach to work.
