About the role

We are seeking a Specialist Medical Practice Manager to join our growing team at CardioOne in Chermside, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity to play a vital role in the strategic management and operational efficiency of our specialist medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows

Manage the practice's financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting

Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of the practice's administrative staff

Implement and maintain effective policies, procedures, and systems to support the practice's operations

Liaise with medical professionals, patients, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the practice's performance

Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

Experience in a medical practice management or healthcare administration role

Thorough understanding of medical practice operations, financial management, and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both medical staff and patients

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically

Proficient in the use of practice management software (ideally Healthtrack) and other relevant digital tools
