About the role

This exciting full-time hands on Hotel Manager role offers you the opportunity to lead the operations of the Purple Pub in the heart of Normanton, Queensland. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's day-to-day activities, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving profitability.

What you'll be doing

Manage and lead a team of hospitality professionals to deliver outstanding guest experiences

Manage all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, gaming, food & beverages and maintenance.

Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to build and motivate a high performing team

Develop and implement effective strategies to maximise revenue, occupancy, and profitability

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, liquor and gaming regulations, health and safety standards

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Liaise with the Regional Manager to identify and address any issues

Oversee weekly ordering of supplies which arrive by truck from the coast.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a hotel or pub management role

Strong operational knowledge of hotel management including front office, housekeeping, pokies, TAB, KENO and food and beverages

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Relevant current qualifications in hospitality management ,Approval managers licence, Current RMLV
