About the Role
This is more than your standard desktop engineering role. As a Digital Workplace Engineer, you'll be at the frontline of aligning technology, people, and processes to make work seamless for our clients and our internal teams. You'll support, configure, and optimise end user environments from laptops and mobiles to O365, Intune, SCCM, Exchange Online, and device lifecycle management.
You won't just keep the lights on. This is a role where technical depth, customer service, and problem-solving collide to create real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide onsite and remote support for end user devices and applications
- Deploy and manage SOE images and applications via SCCM/Intune
- Perform desktop and mobile device management, patching, and Group Policy updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Office 365, and Exchange Online
- Liaise with internal platform and server teams when required
- Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management (procurement to disposal)
- Champion automation and develop knowledge base content to support self-service
- Create and maintain runbooks and SOPs for consistent, high-quality support
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years' experience supporting end user devices and applications
- Strong skills across Windows OS, Office 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, SCCM/Intune
- Proven asset management and configuration management experience
- Customer first mindset with strong communication and stakeholder skills
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure while staying positive
- Bonus points for: PowerShell scripting, ServiceNow experience, ITIL certification, or Microsoft certifications
