About the Role

IMMEDIATE start!

Situated in Fire Rescue Victoria's (FRV) "greenfield" workshop you will be working for Victoria's premium emergency service by looking after FRV's trucks!

FRV is expanding to include a Sunshine workshop and we require an experienced Mechanical Technicians (Diesel Mechanics) to join the team.

6 Months Fixed Term Appointment in FRV's sunny Sunshine location.

What We Require

Trades qualifications to meet Australian regulatory standards are a necessity.

· Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (mandatory)

· Current Victorian HR Driver’s Licence (mandatory)

· Immediate start

In these roles, you will:

· Work as a Heavy Stream Diesel Mechanic

· Undertake scheduled maintenance and repairs of fire appliances and ancillary equipment

· Contribute to turnkey projects in collaboration with departments across FRV’s statewide service

· Carry out emergency field service repairs on the fireground to support operational crews

In this busy workshop you will be expected to deliver high-quality service within set timeframes, while ensuring all standards OH&S, service and team work are consistently maintained in both workshop and field environments.
