About the role

We are seeking 2 experienced Diesel Mechanics, Truck and Trailer Technicians to join our team at Equipment Repairs & Service' in Laverton, Victoria. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a diverse range of heavy vehicles and trailers. If you have strong technical skills, a passion for mechanics, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair and service diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions and other vehicle systems

Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and trailers

Liaise with customers to understand and address their vehicle concerns

Provide feedback on vehicle condition and recommended repairs

Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines

Maintain detailed records of work performed

What we're looking for

3-5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Truck or Trailer Technician

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or related trade

Comprehensive knowledge of heavy vehicle systems and components

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Effective communication skills to liaise with customers

A current heavy vehicle driver's licence
