Southern Refrigerated Transport – Full Time Opportunity

Are you an experienced diesel mechanic looking for your next challenge? Southern Refrigerated Transport is seeking a proactive, self-managing Diesel Service Truck Mechanic to join our team, based primarily at our Sunshine West depot. This is a full-time role with afterhours call-out responsibilities and occasional work at our Starthmerton workshop (a few days per fortnight).

About the Role

· Full time position with immediate start available

· On-site at our Sunshine West depot, with flexibility to attend afterhours callouts

· Work at our Starthmerton workshop required several days per fortnight

· Service, maintain, and repair our fleet of Volvo and Kenworth prime movers as well as Maxicube trailers

· Use of Josam Cam-aligner Wheel Alignment equipment (advantageous)

· Work with a Trimble-based Transport Management System (TMS)

· Maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency

About You

· Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, ideally with Volvo and Kenworth prime movers and Maxicube trailers

· Familiarity with Josam Cam-aligner Wheel Alignment equipment highly regarded

· “Can do” attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Strong self-management and organisational skills

· Experience with Trimble-based TMS systems preferred

· Willingness to respond to afterhours callouts and travel between depots as required

· Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
