About the Role

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Client Support Officer and guiding our frontline team of Support Workers to deliver person-centred, values-based supports. This is a hands-on leadership role – balancing direct client support with team management and operational oversight.

You’ll be trusted to:

Lead, supervise, and inspire Support Workers, fostering a safe, motivated, and solution-focused team.

Build strong, respectful relationships with participants.

Coordinate daily operations alongside the Client Support Officer.

Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Disability Services Act, and other legislation.

Provide coaching, professional development, and induction for new staff.

Support participants with complex needs in ways that foster dignity, independence, and joy.

Maintain clear and accurate records, reports, and communication.

About You

You’ll bring:

Demonstrated experience supporting people living with complex disability and mental health.

Experience applying person-centred practices.

Strong people leadership and team-building skills.

Experience working in SDA (preferred).

Excellent communication, problem-solving and tech confidence (MS Office, Teams, digital systems).

Availability 7am–2pm, Monday to Friday, plus availability over this Christmas period.

A positive “can-do” attitude, sense of humour, and genuine passion for inclusion.

Requirements

Australian Citizenship or valid work rights.

NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent).

Current First Aid & CPR.

Open QLD Driver Licence + registered, reliable vehicle.

Manual Handling Cert a must
