We are a Waste Management company located in Crestmead, Brisbane. Providing sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities across Southeast Queensland.
The opportunity
We have a newly created position and an exciting opportunity for an experienced Admin Support (Part-Time) role to join our Team!
In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and support to the business. This support will include, but not be limited to, assisting with sales and operations administrative tasks, generating quotations and interacting with customers and our sales/operations team daily via multiple communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for our Sales Teams and work closely with the current our Sales and Operations Support role.
Efficiently manage and respond to all types of client and team enquiries.
Monitor and maintain customer/client data and other documentation with accuracy.
Create, communicate and deliver quotations.
Providing administrative support for the sales and operations teams.
Innovate and implement new processes to enhance operational efficiency.
About you:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an admin role, ideally in the waste or transport industry
Strong Customer Service skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships
Demonstrated skills for problem-solving and effectively managing complex sales administration tasks.
High-level computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience using a CRM database platform in previous roles
Excellent time management and analytical skills
Confidence to work autonomously while also being part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to contribute ideas, look for efficiencies and work collaboratively
Thrive in a dynamic and face paced work environment with a proactive attitude
Strong geographical knowledge of the SE Queensland area will be highly regarded, however not essential
What’s on offer
Monday to Friday ***25hrs per week***
Work Hours: 11am - 4pm (5hrs per day)
This is an office based Permanent Part-Time opportunity.
****Successful applicants will be skilled tested at second interview; skills tests are likely to include – excel, word and a problem-solving activity.
