Lead. Support. Make a Difference.

Platinum Support Australia is seeking an experienced House Leader to manage a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Deception Bay. This role combines leadership and hands-on support for a participant with complex behaviours and restrictive practice requirements.

Due to participant-specific support needs & family preference, this position is open to male applicants only.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and mentor a small team of Support Workers.

Oversee day-to-day operations and compliance with NDIS standards.

Provide direct support and implement behaviour support strategies.

Participate in 24/7 on-call roster for continuity of care, including weekends.

Liaise with families, allied health professionals, and internal teams.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in disability support, including restrictive practice knowledge.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent English communication (verbal & written).

Ability to work flexibly and handle on-call duties.

Local to Deception Bay or surrounding suburbs.

Required:

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Blue Card

First Aid & CPR

Driver’s Licence & Reliable Vehicle

Highly Regarded:

Previous House Leader / Team Leader experience.

Maybo/Restrictive Practice Training (preferred, but not essential)
