Accounts Manager & Bookkeeper (Full Time Role)

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible full-time role with real responsibility?

We are a leading, multi award winning high end architectural construction company with a discerning clientele and we are searching for an experienced SME Accounts Manager & Bookkeeper to join our team.

About the Role
Working directly with company leadership, you'll be in charge of the book keeping while managing the full accounts department to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a full-time position with some flexibility on scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and complete accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, and banking
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Full weekly bookkeeping

- Sending out Client Progress Claims Weekly

- Manage accounts, creditors and debtors
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors
- Handle sensitive company documentation and correspondence
- Support project administration as needed
- Support director as needed

-Working in tandem with our accounting company on BAS etc.

Required Qualifications
- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent accounting credentials, or bookkeeping qualifications
- extensive experience in financial management required.

-Knowledge in construction appreciated but not essential

- High level Experience in bookkeeping and able to work autonomously
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting standards
- Technologically proficient - Advanced proficiency with accounting software Xero

- Knowledge of Procore Construction management software favoured but not required
