ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Join an established team working alongside well-experienced Management Accountants. Council is seeking an experienced Systems & Management Accountant with Local Council, TechOne & annual budget preparation experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

An initial 3-month opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent role. Reporting to the Strategic Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the annual budget, quarterly budget, and financial analysis and more.

DUTIES.

• Preparation of the annual & quarterly budgets for Council
• Monitor of all financial systems
• Resolve system issues with internal/ external suppliers
• QBRS, long-term financial planning & IPR reporting
• Cost evaluation, financial analysis & more

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Currently CPA/CA qualified or due for completion
• Expertise in QBRS & IPR reporting
• Demonstrated experience with financial plans & annual budget preparation
• Proficient with Technology One System or similar ERP system
• Previous experience with Local Government is preferred

REMUNERATION.

$55 - $60 p/h + Superannuation
