Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper
We are a small, family-run business seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will cover a broad range of bookkeeping and accounting duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, IAS reporting, BAS preparation and EOFY support.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working with small businesses and be confident managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
Bank reconciliations
Payroll processing
IAS, BAS and EOFY preparation
General bookkeeping duties as required
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience in a small business environment
Proficiency in MYOB/XERO, Word and Excel is essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Hours & Flexibility:
Flexible part-time hours, ideally suited to school hours
Minimum 8 hours per week with additional hours when needed
Additional hours will be required during busy periods
Days and times are negotiable to suit both parties
Immediate start available $40 - $45 per hour plus Super
