About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to join our team in Wolli Creek, NSW. This is a permanent position 20-30 hours per week

Duties for multiple companies

What you'll be doing

Maintaining complete and accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger

Preparing monthly financial statements and reports

Preparing & lodging BAS,PAYG & superannuation

Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns

Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements

Providing administrative support to the sales team

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a bookkeeping or assistant accountant role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficient in using accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping)
