This is a fantastic opportunity to work in our clients Wills & Estates Team, led by a motivated and experience lead Special Counsel, who is a Doyle’s Guide–recognised lawyer with over 15 years’ experience.
This Paralegal role will focus on all aspects from estate planning to administration and litigation support, you’ll gain exposure to high-quality matters and work closely with both clients and external stakeholders.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Liaise directly with clients and manage the onboarding process.
- Coordinate diaries and book client appointments.
- Communicate with accountants and financial planners to gather key documents.
- Prepare probate applications, collect assets, and assist with final distributions.
- Draft estate planning documents (Wills, EPAs, correspondence, ancillary docs).
- Assist with end-of-month billing and maintain accurate records.
- Provide paralegal and admin support to the Wills & Estates team.

You’ll be joining a Special Counsel, who is passionate about helping clients navigate estate planning and administration with a practical, empathetic approach. They are recognised in Doyle’s Guide 2025 for their expertise in Wills, Estate & Succession Planning and Litigation. Alongside them, you’ll collaborate with a small but dedicated team in a supportive and nationally connected practice group.

About you:
- 12+ months’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (open to all levels).
- Bonus points for familiarity with probate or estate administration.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently and in a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
- Experience with end-of-month billing (advantageous).
The Details
- Type: Full-time (8:30am – 5:00pm), Monday - Friday
- Location: Brisbane CBD
- Salary: $80k - $90k package (experience dependent)
- Contract: Permanent role
- Student: Can apply if you have 18+ months left of study before graduation
