You’ll be immersed in the action from day one! Managing files, drafting key court documents, and liaising with clients, courts, and debtors. If you’re a proactive problem-solver with an eye for detail and a genuine interest in the litigation process, keep reading.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Drafting and filing essential legal documents: letters of demand, statements of claim, enforcement proceedings.
• Managing a diverse caseload of secured and unsecured debt recovery matters — from first instruction to final resolution.
• Communicating with clients, debtors, and court staff, always with professionalism and precision.
• Conducting legal research and helping prepare briefs for court.
• Supporting solicitors with general paralegal and administrative tasks.

Who you'll be working with:

You’ll be joining a down-to-earth and approachable Principal Lawyer and a team of Paralegals, who are all passionate about helping clients navigate through claims processes with strategic, yet personal approaches. Alongside them, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated Financial Services team in a supportive and nationally connected practice group.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 2 yrs+ as a Paralegal
• Familiarity with QLD and Federal Court systems — extra points for experience across NSW, VIC, SA, and WA.
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills.
• A detail-oriented mindset with top-tier organisational abilities.
• The ability to work independently while juggling multiple files.
• Law students please apply! You must have 18 months left before graduation.

The Details:

• Type: Full-time (8:30am – 5:00pm), Monday - Friday
• Location: Brisbane CBD
• Salary: $75,000 - $97,500 + super + bonuses
• Contract: Permanent role
