About the role:
As a Leading Hand, you'll be the go-to person on site, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring high quality workmanship.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supervising and coordinating a team of carpenters and apprentices
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Organising materials, tools, and subcontractors
• Ensuring safety standards and project timelines are met
• Hands-on carpentry work where needed to keep the job moving
• Reporting progress and issues to site/project managers

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualified carpenter (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in carpentry, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential construction
• Ability to manage a team and liaise with clients and contractors
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills
• White Card, valid driver’s licence, and own tools
