Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this hands-on BDM role, has a specific focus on the development and acquisition of new client accounts, within Perimeter Access Control Products sector and Access Automation.

This engineering business has focus on commercial sales portfolio of clients which demand highly specialized and engineered gates, bollards, traffic barriers and full height turnstiles, within specific targeted industries.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek sales opportunities through networking, tender portals, sales strategies, cold calling and digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the Project Delivery team to support operational activities as required on contract management, project completion and client problem resolution
  • Identify sales opportunities with potential and existing clients
  • Maintain customer satisfaction, resolve complaints and support customers where possible
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge and more….

Your Profile

As well as having excellent selling and commercial skills, the successful candidate will ideally possess:

  • Business Development experience in a B2B industrial/engineering technical environment
  • Proven ability to optimize the sales process with customers
  • Ability to drive sales performance, ideally within Automation / Access Control Industry.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for profitability.
  • Effective people and communication, and ability to work within a team and autonomously.

This is a Hybrid sales role and your time will be spent targeting client, be it in person or online.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required.
  • Base $110K + Super + Commissions + $18K Car Allow.
  • Location head office, Melbourne Northern Suburbs.
