We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to drive the next stage of growth for an award-winning Australian fintech. The Challenge:

• Set the technical direction and shape the system architecture.
• Grow and mentor a team of engineers, balancing execution with career development.
• Partner with product managers to deliver outcomes that connect directly to business impact.
• Drive agile practices, strong engineering standards, and a collaborative, inclusive culture.
• Align with other engineering leaders to guide strategy, hiring, and resource allocation.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in engineering management.
• Strong track record in building and leading full-stack teams.
• Depth in an OO language (C#.NET, Java, or C++) plus a modern JS framework (React, Angular, Next.js).
• Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with solid database knowledge (SQL Server, Postgres, Redis).
• Proven ability to balance people leadership with technical credibility.
