ARE YOU A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST WITH AN INTEREST IN WEIGHT MANAGEMENT?

We are a boutique. multidisciplinary weight management clinic in Crows Nest, Sydney.

Whilst our primary speciality is weight management, the clinical presentations of our patients are broad including comorbid depression and anxiety, complex trauma, disordered eating, neurodiversity and ADHD.

Ours is a unique model, with a combination of a dietitian, doctor (GP) and a psychologist working together to get the best outcomes for patients. We are looking for a second psychologist to join the team.

Our clinic adopts a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to helping individuals manage their health, weight and relationship with food. We emphasise body positivity and self-worth which is paramount to the model of care we provide for our clients.

We are strongly evidence-based with a combined 20 years' experience in medical weight management. We keep up to date with all the latest evidence in this rapidly expanding field.

We have strong relationships in the community with ties to General Practitioners, Surgeons and Physicians as well as other Allied Health Professionals.

Noi Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate female Clinical Psychologist to join us.

• Are interested in weight management psychology including management of disordered eating (specifically binge eating disorder).

• Are interested in managing comorbid conditions which can be associated with excess weight, and management of these (such as trauma history, anxiety, depression and ADHD).

• Are interested in, or interested in learning about, psychology and bariatric surgery.

You will see patients in one-on-one consultations and participate in small team meetings (remunerated) to develop a shared care pathway.

Applicant must be a Psychologist.

• Clinical psychologist registration is required for this position.

You must have:

• AHPRA registration.

• Own insurance.

• Understanding and willingness to work with a non-judgemental approach to individuals living in larger bodies.

• Any legal work rights in Australia are acceptable.

Specific experience in specialty weight management is not necessary however 2 years experience in general psychology and a desire to learn and be actively involved in a multidisciplinary team is essential.
