Are you an experienced Project Manager within the construction industry Or Jnr. Project Manager looking to step up ?

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead, oversee and coordinate the team by being accountable for ensuring all supervisors and contractors are delivering on time and within budget, ensuring a safe work environment. This is an opportunity for you to work on defense and government refurbishment and fit out projects in Darwin.

About The Role:

• Maintain the highest standard of EHSQ
• Deliver a project (or projects) from preconstruction to completion of defect liability period
• Build and maintain positive relationships both with project teams and external stakeholders
• Manage the financial and operational excellence across projects
• Understand and comply with relevant policies and practices
• Manage the development of project teams
• Identify and create strategies for profit improvement
• Manage project finance
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships
• Ensure system compliance
• Quality management & defect minimisation

What You Will Need:

• 2-5 years Project Management experience within the commercial construction, ideally in Fit out and Refurbishment
• Able to pass a defence clearance (DCAC)
• Experience working on projects $5M+
• Strong knowledge of head contracts and subcontracts
• Solid understanding of project methodology, cost reporting, and programming
• Solid experience in interpreting specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
• Ability to manage a project to Australian Safety Standards
• Experience with JOBPAC and Procore (desired)
• Proven dedication to EHSQ principles
