About the role

Join Structural Restoration Services' dynamic team as a full-time Team Leader with our yard based in Melrose Park, SA 5039. In this pivotal role, you will lead a small team mostly underpinning buildings using our drilling & pier construction methods and also occasional building works i.e demo, renovation and structural restoration of homes across Adelaide and regional areas, ensuring efficient and safe construction site operations that align with the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Operate plant (mostly excavators) and equipment required for job at hand

Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of you and your team

Provide guidance, training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standard

Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement effective work plans

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on the construction site

Provide a positive, collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Significant experience in excavator operations and or the building industry

Hands on experience with excavator drilling and tight access excavation

Must hold Class C license, Excavator licence, and White Card (Construction Induction Card) etc.

MR (or higher) Truck licence highly advantageous

Strong understanding of construction site operations, equipment and safety protocols

Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and adapt to changing priorities

Relevant qualifications or certifications in Construction, OH&S or a related field
