We’re on the lookout for a motivated and hands-on Team Leader & 2IC Machine Operator to join our food manufacturing team!

The Team Leader is a leadership role suits someone who thrives in a high-volume, compliance-driven operation and is confident managing both people and processes.

The 2IC Machine Operator is a blended role that combines the technical skills of a Machine Operator with the leadership support of a Team Leader - perfect for someone looking to step up and take on more responsibility while still being on the tools.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Work across a 3-week rotating shift pattern:

Week 1: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm

Week 2: 3:50 pm – 12:00 am (15% Loading)

Week 3: 11:50 pm – 8:00 am (20% Loading)

Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth, safe and efficient output.

Running daily shift operations and making sure production targets, safety checks, and quality standards are all met.

Supporting your team with clear direction, task allocation and regular feedback.

Lead by example on the floor, driving performance, safety, and quality standards.

Troubleshoot and escalate production or equipment issues as needed.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to HAACP & WHS standards.

Assist with training and mentoring new operators.

What We’re Looking For:

Someone with leadership experience in a relevant food production environment.

A problem-solver who can juggle tasks and keep calm under pressure.

A natural team leader who leads by example and communicates clearly.

Understanding of safety, quality control, daily production targets & HAACP guidelines.

Experience in a Team Leader or 2IC capacity will be highly regarded.

Additional Requirements:

Proof of Right to Work in Australia (e.g., Australian Birth Certificate, Passport, or Permanent Residency Visa)

Successful applicants will be required to complete a Federal Police Check and Medical Test

Completion of Programmed Induction Documents is required prior to client interview
