Stash & Lode, the Sunshine Coast’s most innovative storage and removals company, is seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Field Operations Team Leader.

In this role you’ll operate medium rigid (MR) and heavy rigid (HR) trucks and truck-mounted forklifts, across urban and rural sites. No HR or forklift licence? Training will be provided for a suitable candidate.

Day-to-day, you'll lead on-site teams to pack and unpack goods into both our Mobile Storage Units (MSUs) and removals trucks. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, you'll champion our customers' needs and the care of their goods, helping to strengthen the trusted reputation we've built. Through the power of your example, you'll help maintain and develop the company's standards and mentor the next generation of talent in our removals and storage operation.

Based at Stash & Lode HQ in Cooroy to start, the role will transition to our southern Sunshine Coast depot where you'll play a leading role in maintaining its smooth operation. We offer a competitive starting rate of $37.50 per hour, with rapid progression opportunities for proven performance, including upgraded hourly rates and a pathway to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate MR/HR trucks and truck-mounted forklifts safely in urban and rural settings

· Lead field crews to complete removals and storage jobs, packing and unpacking customers' belongings into and out of MSUs and trucks with care

· Mentor and upskill junior team members, maintaining company standards

· Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with safety standards

Licence & Qualifications:

Essential: Current MR Licence with minimum 2 years truck driving experience

Highly Desirable: HR Licence, High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) - or willingness to obtain

Skills & Experience:

Prior experience leading removals teams or similar roles

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Strong communication, leadership, and team-building abilities

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
