The Firm & The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established commercial law firm and due to growth they are seeking to recruit an experienced lawyer at the Senior Lawyer or Senior Associate or Special Counsel level.

You'll be working alongside a collaborative, experienced team with a reputation for delivering clear, compassionate, and commercial advice to clients navigating separation, parenting, and property matters.

This new opportunity will offer genuine support, autonomy, a consistent pipeline of quality and complex work. No portable practice is required.

You will advise on complex parenting and financial matters, including parenting arrangements, child support, spousal maintenance and assist with family violence and intervention order matters. You will resolve matter through mediation, negotiation, collaborative law. Litigation is a last resort.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 5 years post-admission experience in family law
• Strong technical expertise across parenting, property, financial agreements
• A calm, confident, and empathetic approach
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and managing complex asset structures
• Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively
• Interest in mentoring, leadership, and practice development
• A portable client base or referrer network is welcomed but not essential
