• $150,000 - $180,000 | 5 years + PAE Family Law

About the Position:
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will:

• Provide clear, practical, and empathetic advice on divorce, parenting arrangements, property settlements, spousal maintenance, and domestic/family violence matters
• Prepare affidavits, consent orders, binding financial agreements, and court applications
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and Family Court proceedings
• Brief and liaise with barristers where appropriate
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents
• Mentor and support junior lawyers while contributing to team development
• Work collaboratively with external professionals to achieve holistic client outcomes
• Maintain meticulous file management and compliance with professional standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 7 years’ PAE in Family Law (NSW-qualified)
• Strong knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975 and relevant case law
• Experience managing complex interim and final hearings, including cross-examination and briefing of counsel
• Client-focused with strong emotional intelligence and empathy
• Proven leadership, mentoring experience, and ability to contribute to firm growth
• Experience in mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law practices
• Experience with high-value estates or family provision claims is highly regarded
