Let’s talk about the role:
We are seeking a superstar Senior Payroll Officer to join our team on a part time basis (6 days a fortnight).
Reporting to the Group Head of Finance & Commercial, and working closely with the HR Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while contributing to the smooth operation of our busy Group.
This is a permanent, part-time role. A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Criminal Record Check is required for the successful applicant.
What you’ll do:
Manage end-to-end payroll for our dedicated team
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Awards
Process superannuation, PAYG, leave, and entitlements
Provide timely payroll reporting and support to management
Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a senior payroll role (end-to-end)
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with Micropay and Humanforce is ideal, but not essential
A team player who thrives in a collaborative workplace
Experience working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
The ability to be highly flexible and navigate conflicting priorities.
Demonstrated experience meeting tight deadlines.
Experience supporting a business in Early Childhood Education desirable, but not essential.
A current Blue Card or ability to apply for one.
Willingness to undertake a National Police Check.
