This is a hands-on role for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end fortnightly payroll for a national workforce, working across multiple systems and awards to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely outcomes every pay cycle.

About the role:

• Manage end-to-end payroll for a national workforce of 5,000+ employees, processed fortnightly.
• Handle payroll tax, long service leave (LSL), superannuation, WorkCover and termination payrolls.
• Answering a variety of payroll queries and keeping the shared inbox under control.
• Support system transitions and data uploads/downloads to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Staying across awards, legislation, and compliance updates and communicating these to the wider business effectively.

About you:

• Proven end-to-end payroll experience in a high-volume and/or fast-paced environment.
• Confident handling LSL calculations, terminations, and payroll approvals.
• Strong communicator with the ability to guide Centre Managers through award interpretations.
• SAP and SuccessFactors experience desirable. If your experience is across other platforms a tech-savvy approach with the ability to quickly learn new systems is great.
• Energetic team player who enjoys a laugh but thrives in a structured, fast-paced setting.
