Media and Social Media Monitoring Analyst

8.5+ hours per week

Availability on Saturday / Sunday mornings and Friday evenings needed.

Virtual office – work from home anywhere across the country.

We have an opportunity to join our Media and Social Media Analysis Division providing our clients with a clear picture of their online risk profile.

First and foremost we are after someone with a fantastic attitude, thoroughness and a keen eye for detail (bonus points for finding the typo in this ad).

We will provide full training but an understanding of risk as it pertains to the government, media, online and legal landscapes will be highly regarded. Ideally you're also a clear and effective written communicator able to summarise information from multiple sources for a C-Level audience.

This would suit someone looking to supplement and existing income with some weekend work. Typically you'd need to prepare 3 reports on Saturday (about 3.5 hours combined) and the same on Sunday (about 2.5 hours combined). The approximate start time is 7.30am.

Additionally, we need someone who can preform 3 x 30 minute social media checks on Fridays at 5.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

There's scope for additional hours on top of the above, depending on availability.

About you:

Loves the challenge of online investigation following breadcrumbs down rabbit holes (and various other clumsy metaphors).

Has outstanding written and comprehension skills and can ‘read between the lines’ to analyse what's really being said.

Is a high functioning individual who understands the importance of comprehensive analysis to paint an accurate picture of online risk.

Is online savvy and a quick learner of new systems and technologies (we use social listening software, web preservation software and additional forensic techniques and processes).

Is able to work autonomously without direct supervision (you will get plenty of guidance, support and training).

Has an exceptional eye for detail and an inquisitive mind to present the full story.

Is process driven with the ability to break down problems.
