The Taiwan Trade Centre, Sydney, the official overseas office of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented business development manager to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of international trade, helping Australian and New Zealand companies expand their networks, explore new opportunities, and access cutting-edge industries in Taiwan.

What You’ll Do

Promote Taiwan’s international trade shows and encourage Oceania companies to participate as visitors or exhibitors.

Facilitate business matching to connect Australian and New Zealand companies with Taiwanese partners.

Organise and support trade missions, product launches, and procurement meetings.

Assist with promotional activities and events in Australia and New Zealand.

Liaise with professional media and coordinate press visits to Taiwan.

Conduct market research and prepare industry reports on business opportunities and market trends.

Manage social media promotion and digital outreach.

Carry out other related assignments as required.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates who are either Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens only.

Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.

A team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
