Randstad Senior Finance is currently partnering with an exciting and fast-paced business located in Cremorne. Our client is a leader in their field and is looking for a talented Accountant to join their team for a 2-3 month contract with an immediate start.

About the role:

This is a hands-on role where you will be integral to the finance function, providing crucial support across both financial and management accounting. Reporting directly to the senior finance leadership, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact during a key period for the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports.

Developing and producing timely and insightful management reports for key stakeholders.

Providing direct support to the Financial Controller with analysis and ad hoc projects.

Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger.

Utilising NetSuite to extract data and generate financial reports and analysis.

Contributing to process improvements within the finance team.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this contract role, you will be a proactive and adaptable accountant who can hit the ground running. You will ideally have:

Proven experience in a similar Accountant role with exposure to both financial and management reporting.

Strong technical accounting skills and a high degree of accuracy.

Hands-on experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders, including the Financial Controller.

CA or CPA qualification (or working towards) is preferred.

The ability to start immediately and commit to the full contract term, with the possible view to extension.
