About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at the Mahogany Inn and Distillery. This full-time role will see you as a chef within the team, delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Working with other chefs to ensure consistency across all plate’s, food preparation, and quality control

Developing and implementing creative specials from time to time

Coaching and managing younger members of the team to the highest standards of food quality and service

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment

What we're looking for

Proven track record of at least 3-5 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment

Experience in cooking steaks is a must

Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes

Must be a team player

Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality or culinary arts
