About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef de partie to join the talented culinary team at Bread In Common, our highly regarded restaurant located in the vibrant city of Fremantle, Western Australia. As a chef de partie, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our kitchen, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistent quality and flavour
Assist the head chef in the planning and execution of daily menus, specials, and new dish development
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work station, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support the smooth running of the kitchen
Contribute to the ongoing development and training of junior kitchen staff
Actively participate in menu planning and recipe refinement to enhance the dining experience
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef de partie or equivalent role in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment
Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, delicious, and visually appealing dishes
Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Knowledge of modern cooking techniques, menu planning, and food trends within the Hospitality & Tourism industry

we are a casual entry venue.
