What I Will Be Doing:

As a Senior Support Worker in our Penrith Day Program, I will:

  • Support the day-to-day running of programs and activities focused on Life Skills, Work and Study, Skills for Life, and Recreation.
  • Work alongside the Coordinator to help the team succeed, stepping up when needed.
  • Facilitate group activities such as art, drama, music, and gardening to engage and inspire customers.
  • Assist with administration tasks, including WHS audits (fire drills, site safety inspections) to ensure a safe environment.
  • Help plan and review customer programs, providing guidance to other support workers and ensuring that the programs meet customer needs.
  • Assist with rostering in Niara, and help cover duties when the Coordinator is absent.
  • Be available from 8 am to 4 pm, ensuring consistent support throughout the day.
