About your new Role!
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the team on a 12-month contract with a view to permanency. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting system improvements while thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month-end reporting including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, investigating variances
• Assisting with statutory reporting and year-end audit requirements
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and assisting with tax reporting
• Supporting ERP migration, UAT testing and process improvements
• Contributing to data integrity testing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Reviewing supplier payment runs and direct debit processes for accuracy and compliance
• Providing ad hoc analysis and support to the Financial Controller

About You!

• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant in a commercial environment
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system exposure
• Balance sheet reconciliation expertise and solid technical accounting knowledge
• Experience assisting with UAT or system implementations highly desirable
• Calm, collected and resilient, able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
