We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant/Accounts Allrounder to join our supportive & friendly finance team based in our new office in Chatswood CBD. This is a full-time contract role for a period of 12 months.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position would suit a person who enjoys working in a supportive small team environment in a medium size trading business. You will be supported by 2 assistant accountants (accounts payable and accounts receivable).

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting - month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, maintain general ledger integrity

Ad hoc Regional Group Reporting / Forecasting

Scheduling payments for review and authorisation

Bank reconciliations

Manage supplier month end reconciliation and related communication

Assist with Monthly Compliance - BAS, Withholding tax, Payroll tax

Assist with year-end audit

ABOUT YOU

Your Experience:

Not less than 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.

Able to meet strict deadlines

Excellent communicator, practical, pro-active, hands-on

Attention to detail & highly organised

Knowledge of accounting systems/ERPs such as NetSuite

Proficient in excel a must

Qualification:

Diploma or degree in accounting

Professional qualification in accounting desirable

We will consider applicants who may not have the qualification but have experience in a similar role or if you wish to gain experience in financial reporting with an international business.
